A few F bombs in here, at times we can be blissfully unaware of the power of the spoken word. Being impeccable with ones word is challenging at times and in small communities, you cant always choose your friends and good role models can be thin on the ground. So remember that there will always be someone out there who looks up to you and idolizes what you say and do. Words and actions speak volumes and often pave the path you create that others will follow ( metaphorically speaking )
I know how hard it is when working in male dominated industries to control how we speak, F this and C that and all the rest of it…. its toxic and uncouth yet the majority of us men seem to do it, myself included.
Im not sure where it stems from, possibly insecurity, maybe someone in the know can shed some light on this for me. I used to swear a lot, and am still working on my eloquence, being a leader of boys and men, its important that we hand this great power we have – the power of the spoken word; down to future generations.
There is white magic and black magic in our speech. We can lift others up and light their fire so they shine a light on others, or we can tear them down and leave them smoldering in a pile of ashes, just waiting to ignite.
The smallest comments and remarks can have a huge effect on someones wellbeing, first and foremost our own subconscious mind, and secondly the people who are closest to us.
It takes a lot of self awareness and persistence to change our inner dialogue, and in order to spread love and positive vibrations, we must have the discipline and the will to speak white magic into this world.
We all have good and bad, yin and yang, light and darkness, angels and demons inside of us, we must harness the good stuff and release it in the right way and the right direction at the appropriate time, light up the dark, cage the demons and put our dragon on a chain. If we can lock the demons away and dont feed them, and harness our dragons power, we can use it for good.
Break the chains that bind us, the addictions and vices that do not serve us well, and let the light into the dark places. Change our inner narrative from negative to positive – and we will change the world.
Our world has a heartbeat, there is something that runs through all things, a thread of magic, something in the water of which we are mostly made of.
We are all part of this, help it flow freely and work its magic, and life will be good for us and our community.
We can change the world, it starts with us
Now is the time
